| So, I haven't written in here in ages. Work is really slow on occasion and my friend, Melinda, asked why I haven't been posting on xanga if I had so much time on my hands. So, here we go. :)
I've been home for the summer; working at a Geotechnical engineering company in Arlington. I've had so much fun this summer! It has seemed so busy, but I guess that's cause I work during the day and then in the evenings, I'm almost always doing something with friends, Rob, or my family. But I would take busy and fun over relaxed and bored any day.
I can't believe that school starts in about 3 and a half weeks. :( I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and living on my own again, but I'm not looking forward to being tired and stressed out again. Maybe this will be the last hecitc and awful semester... probably not, but a girl can hope, right?
Well, I guess that's all for now. I'm wondering if anyone still reads this, so if you do, leave me a quick comment. I might decide to post something again. :)
Have a great Wednesday!!!
| So I am now the proud owner of one acre of the moon! Not joking! :) | | |

| I seriously want to beat whoever is responsible for having different shortcuts for Excel between Mac's and Pc's. So much anger!!!!!! And whoever is responsible for my incredibly slow internet, I want to beat him too!!! | | |
| So, I read this in my devotional book today and I thought it was very applicable for college because I think pretty much everyone here will soon be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. :) Enjoy!
"...I do lead a busy and full life. There were times when I felt that perhaps I needed to apologize for it.... but no longer. Busy is not bad. The apostle Paul was busy; Jesus was busy. I am busy "working for the Lord." My day is spent in moments strung together. Each moment is the one in which I am pursuing, to the best of my ability, the purpose for which I was created."
The first time I read this, I felt bad for being busy with school. She said "working for the Lord"... I'm doing engineering, not Biblical studies. Then I realized that I am doing what God wants me to be doing. I know without a doubt, he has me at LeTourneau and I am in his will. Granted, I need to keep everything in perspective and make sure that I'm still having daily time with him. So, even though late nights are spent doing Mech and Kine problems and not pouring over the Bible, that's ok. That's what I'm supposed to be doing and that makes God smile. :)
